Come (if you dare) to the Frightful Forest, where the woods come alive at night with creatures from your worst nightmares! Open to the public rain or dark, Friday October 20 & 21, and Saturday, October 21 & 28, 7-10PM. NEW and improved for 2006, with more scares and a new layout and trail! All proceeds from this event go to benefit Salisbury Horizons Enrichment Program, a local chapter of a national program offering enrichment programs for talented students from diverse, low-income backgrounds.

You will experience up in your face terror as you dare to make it through all 4 floors of this historic 250 year old mansion which was used as a hospital in the Civil War. Your daring journey will even include the old slave quarters in the basement and old burial grounds out back. Watch your step! Beware of the Civil War undead and other creatures that seem to want you to stay!! Stay dry and warm as you await your turn inside our historic ballroom. This is the only safe room in the mansion or is it? Be sure to visit our bonfire outside and hear real Civil War history and ghost stories about the Landon House from our Civil War toastmaster! Food and drinks will be available!
